The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees invites applications from qualified candidates for the posts of:

Psychosocial School Counselors

1-Duty Station : Nablus Area – Males and Females

– Vacancy Number 011/2011/X

Jerusalem Area – Females Only - Vacancy Number 012/2011/X

2-Basic Salary : JD 565.0 that varies in accordance to the pay policies set by the Agency.

3-Allowances : Family Allowances payable up to 7 children and spouse.

4-Other Benefits : Include Health Insurance and Provident Fund.



5-Qualifications:

-A university degree in psychology, social work or a related field.

-At least two years of experience in psychosocial counseling.

-Basic computer skills.

-Good command of written and spoken English and Arabic.

Competencies

-Ability to work under pressure.

-Excellent counseling skills and ability to work with female and male children, adolescents, adults and elderly.

-Good knowledge of animation techniques with children.

-Creativity and ability to take initiatives.

-Ability to perform activities such as drawing, painting, music, dancing
